::Summer Sanuk::

Summer is finally here!

And I haven't posted in a while, sorry about that. It's been a busy week, and I can finally lay out on the beach with my family and relax. I am in Seaside, Florida right now. Awesome, right? I love it. It's crowded, but still nice.

Anyway, one of my best friends had these amazzzzing shoes on. I totally copied her and ordered like a billion pairs (not exactly a billion, but close). Sanuk shoes. My LOVE for the summer. I can't wait for them to come in.

They aren't exactly the prettiest or girly shoes ever made, but they are very good for your posture and have great arch support for your feet! And there are many different kinds/styles/colors etc. of Sanuk. Please check out this website! Soooo worth it!

I think these are cool. They're really simple, yet cool. I would wear these with friends at a movie, everyday life, and pretty much everywhere else! I'm kind of obsessed.

SOO cute. Jeans, shorts... everything, pretty much goes with this. Don't they look comfy?

Ok, now these are simply amazing. They are called "Yoga Mat" sandals... every color... great for your feet.. super cool... pretty... comfortable... um, SOLD.

::Good Morning::

Good morning! Rise and shine! Well, I'm still at the ranch and waking up this morning was hard. After dragging myself to the kitchen for breakfast, I had the choice of only cereal, an apple, or a cup of coffee.

Exciting, right? Yeah, I know.

So I decided to actually take my time and fix something that I would actually enjoy, and would give me enough energy to last through the day! After searching through the refrigerator, I found some eggs and orange juice, etc. etc...

First I made some scrambled eggs:

And then I made some toast with jelly... I like some butter on my toast, but it's not the best thing you can put on your toast! Doesn't that look good?

And some Simply Orange orange juice... Remember to get a good source of calcium everyday. You could also try milk with cereal.

Make sure you don't eat Lucky Charms or any other sugary cereals, because that doesn't give you energy, etc. during the day. Special K or granola is always your best choice!

And of course a big bowl of berries. Healthy and sweet! Perfect to start off your day!

Ahhh... Well, I better go. My friends can't know I'm writing this, as this is an anonymous blog.

::Weekend at the Ranch::

Hi! Howdy! Some of my friends and I went to my best friend's ranch for the weekend. We just got in this morning, and it is hottttt. So, I am now in my temporary room cooling off for a while, until we go four-wheelering with the guys later. Woop woop.

Anyway, even though it is SO hot out, I can't let myself give in and wear plain shorts all day. I mean, I know I would sweat a lot less, but after taking numerous pics with the girls, I would hate to look back and see how untidy I looked!

Style, girls... even out in a ranch! So here are some ideas I had for the rest of the weekend and the future...

Plain white v-neck:

This may seem simple, and maybe even boring, but trust me! Out in the sun, you won't want anything but this. But since it is kind of boring, let's spice it up a little:

Kippy's belt.

This is really cute. Kippy's is known for its shiny and sparkly belts! But this one I found is a little more relaxed, and it goes great with these jeans:

True Religion... LOVE.

I wear these exact jeans almost every day! They are soooo comfy. Imagine wearing these at a ranch... perfection. That is what a stylish cowgirl would wear. And it's cool, too!

Now slip on some boots with all of these items, and you're set!

I like these because they aren't flashy or tacky. They just blend in with everything you're wearing, but still are cute.

Let's get something straight: I LOVE turquoise! Everything about it is perfect! So just be warned, you will be seeing a lot of turquoise from now on, okay? You have been warned...

::My Fair Lady::

(Just beware this post is much shorter than what I will usually write, don't worry. It's late, so I wanted to just throw something out there!)

My first post... EVER.

And of course, I had to write about something I absolutely love... So I picked one of my favorite movies: My Fair Lady. I started watching it this morning and then finished it after dinner tonight.

And then it was like my first post just fell in my lap. You know the extravagant/beautiful,over-the-top hats the women wear at Ascot? The horse race in the first act? Well, I just had to write a post on hats after seeing them!

So I looked up just a few hats, and wanted to compare them with Audrey Hepburn's hat above:

Ahh... Marc Jacobs. I love these. Trendy, and cool. Good for just walking in the city, don't you think?

Once upon a time...

...I was reading a wonderful blog. I thought to myself, "You could do that". "Maybe..." I answered. So here I am! Typing away...

Just remember this blog is supposed to be anonymous. It will be written by a regular gal who has a passion for fashion! (...and beauty, life, health, nutrition, New York, etc., etc...) But we don't need to get into that today. Maybe tomorrow :)

Oh, and promise me you will follow this blog, and by the end of this week you will stand up and exclaim, "I am now OBSESSED! Victory! I have finally found a blog that I love, and can look forward to reading everyday of my life!" Just kidding. But that would give me confidence. Just saying...
